Project Summary

This project seeks to meet a current unmet need in the built environment: Cost-effective and widely deployable sensing of ultrafine (diameters < 100 nm) particulate matter air pollution. Testing hypotheses regarding the detection of particles at these sizes will be the first challenge. Upon conclusion of applicable testing, the team will work to develop portable, cost-effective ultrafine sensors such as do not currently exist.
