Project Summary

This project aims to analyze the rich COVID-19 Participant Experience survey data collected by the NIH All of Us Research Program (AllOfUsRP) and determine to what extent the built environment is associated with COVID-19 infection and mental health. The results will shed light on strategies to enhance built environment sustainability and better prepare for future pandemics”

“Initially, we will collect a set of survey questions and their corresponding sub-datasets, which pertain to the built environment. Afterward, we will examine how COVID-19 infection relates to factors associated with the built environment by employing a logistic regression model. To prevent misleading results, we will adjust for possible confounding variables like age, sex, and race/ethnicity. Similarly, we will investigate the connection between the built environment-related factors and participants' mental well-being. Ultimately, we will interpret the findings through the perspective of the built environment.”
